Maasai Mara National Reserve, Kenya
A national reserve with the highest concentration of game in the world
During peak migration season, the Masai Mara is known for having an overabundance of safari vehicles, but staying at the Olare Motorogi Conservancy provides the flexibility to do game drives in both the Mara and on the private 35,000-acre conservancy. Just north of the Masai Mara Game Reserve, it has the lowest vehicle density in the region while also boasting the highest concentration of big cats anywhere in Africa, making for thrilling early-morning, late-afternoon and night game drives. Hot air ballooning, cultural excursions and kids’ explorer activities can also be arranged.
